Lyotard|Book design

A series of English translations of hitherto untranslated texts about art and artists by J.F. Lyotard. The original French texts (set in Garamond) is followed meticulously by its English translation (set in Lexicon).
Hard cover, end- and inside-paper all use the same uncoated, natural colored paper to make one solid white object. On the frontcover the the dark champs shines is its tiny white frame. The cover is type-only & thus he differentiation between the volumes is made with colour, not with photographs. The colour used in the title's type, returns on the spine as an accent to only show itself in full on the back.
